I never knew my body. Now I do.

Ama was 14 when she attended her first 360 Girls Foundation health talk in her community. Like many girls in rural Ghana, she had grown up with no access to accurate information about her own body, menstrual health was a topic surrounded by shame and silence.

After the workshop, she said she finally understood why she experienced pain each month, what was normal, and what to do if something felt wrong. She went home and shared what she learned with her younger sister and three of her classmates. That afternoon, four more girls received information that might one day help them stay in school, stay safe, and stay healthy.
